How do I rent a dumpster from Dumpster Dogs?+

Do you offer same-day dumpster delivery?+
Yes. Orders placed before noon get same-day delivery in most Tampa Bay areas including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Brandon, and Odessa. Next-day delivery is always guaranteed across our full service area.
How far in advance do I need to book?+
We recommend 1-2 days in advance, but same-day bookings are welcome. Weekend and holiday availability varies — call early to lock in your spot.
We use 15-yard roll-off dumpsters — the ideal size for residential driveways (about 4-5 pickup truck loads). For bigger projects, we deliver multiples or swap out as you fill them:
Small Project (15 Yard) — $299: Garage cleanouts, single-room remodels, yard cleanup Medium Project (30 Yard): Kitchen remodels, roof tear-offs, large cleanouts Large Project (45 Yard): Whole-home renovations, construction, commercial projects

Are there any hidden fees?+
No. Your $299 Small Project rental covers everything: delivery, pickup, disposal up to 1 ton, and driveway protection. The only additional charges are:
Extra time: $25/day extension Over 1 ton: $100/ton overage Surcharge items: Refrigerant appliances $100/item, tires $50-$75/tire, electronics $50/item

Are there weight limits?+
Each dumpster includes 1 ton (2,000 lbs). If you go over, the overage rate is $100/ton — we weigh at the disposal facility and send you the ticket. Most single-room cleanouts and yard projects stay under 1 ton.
What are the overages and what do they cost?+
Several items may result in additional charges if placed in the dumpster:
Refrigerant appliances (refrigerators, freezers, AC units, dehumidifiers): $100 per item. Must be disclosed before delivery. Undisclosed items may incur additional processing charges.
Tires:$50 per tire. Tires mounted on rims: $75 per tire.
TVs, monitors, and e-waste:$50 per item depending on size. Must be disclosed before delivery. Undisclosed items may incur additional processing charges.
Weight overage: Your $299 rental includes 1 ton (2,000 lbs). Overage is $100/ton.
Extended rental:$25/day beyond the 24-hour base period.
Rental Period & Pickup
How long can I keep the dumpster?+
Your rental includes a 24-hour period. Need more time? Extensions are just $25/day. Call us before your rental period ends and we’ll extend it — no hassle. Most customers keep it 1-3 days.
How do I schedule pickup?+
Call us at 833-386-7813 when you’re done loading. We’ll schedule pickup promptly — usually within 24 hours.
What if I fill the dumpster before my project is done?+
We offer same-day swap-outs. We’ll pick up the full dumpster and drop off an empty one so your project keeps moving. Call us and we’ll coordinate the timing.
How long does delivery take once I book?+
Most deliveries happen within 2-4 hours for same-day orders placed before noon. Next-day delivery is always guaranteed. We’ll call you 30 minutes before arrival.
Materials & Restrictions
What can I put in the dumpster?+
Most household, construction, and yard waste is accepted: furniture, appliances, lumber, drywall, roofing shingles, concrete and brick (weight limits apply), carpet, general junk, and landscaping debris.
What cannot go in a dumpster?+
Hazardous materials are prohibited: paint, chemicals, oil, batteries, medical waste, and flammable liquids.

Can I put concrete or heavy materials in the dumpster?+
Yes. We handle concrete, brick, block, stone, and asphalt. Your rental includes 1 ton — overages are $100/ton. For heavy-debris-only loads (like a concrete patio demo), call us for a custom quote since weight adds up fast.
Do you handle the disposal?+
Yes. We haul everything to licensed county disposal facilities (Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas depending on your location). You never visit the landfill.
Placement & Permits
Where will the dumpster be placed?+
Typically on your driveway. We can also place on yards, parking lots, or job sites. Tell us about your placement needs when you book. We use heavy-duty rubber mats under every dumpster to protect your surface.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?+
No. We place heavy-duty rubber mats under every dumpster on every delivery — it’s included in every rental at no extra charge. This protects concrete, pavers, and asphalt from scratches and marks.
Do I need a permit?+
If the dumpster is on your private property (driveway, yard), no permit is typically required in Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas counties. Street or right-of-way placement may require a permit from your city. We can help you determine if one is needed.
Can you deliver to a narrow driveway or tight space?+
In most cases, yes. Our 15-yard dumpsters are compact enough for standard residential driveways. If you have a narrow driveway, circular drive, or gated community, let us know when booking and we’ll plan the best approach.
